I love to see how orthodontics changes the confidence and self-esteem of the children and adults I treat. I really get to know my patients over their treatment and I consider many of them to be more like an extension of my family. When a patient leaves the office with a smile they are proud to show off, I know I’ve helped to make a positive difference in their life.

I received my undergraduate training at Baylor University where I was also a member of the varsity football team. I attended dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston and was elected to membership in the Omicron Kappa Epsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following my graduation, I entered the orthodontic program and received a Master’s degree in Orthodontics.

My goal is to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care to my patients. In order to do so, I continue my education through seminars and courses on the best and most effective orthodontic treatments available.

I am active in many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. I am also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. I helped to develop my current system of braces, which is used by thousands of orthodontists all over the world.

My family is very important to me, and outside of the practice, I have two children who I am very proud of. My daughter, Lauren, a graphic designer in Colorado and my other daughter, Lindsey, is a stay at home Mom taking care of my first Grandchild. My family and I share a strong belief in our faith. I strongly believe in making contributions to my community, and am involved in the Serving Him ministry, as well as having assisted in building a dental clinic to help the people of Guatemala. I have sponsored the Flower Mound High School Athletes for Literacy Program for many years, along with several LISD sponsorships.
